The JLab India Round Bottom Flask (RBF) is a critical laboratory vessel engineered for chemical reactions, distillations, and heating applications. Its characteristic spherical shape is specifically designed to withstand high pressure and ensure uniform heat distribution, making it superior to flat-bottom variants for vacuum operations and vigorous boiling. And ISO 4797 standards, it is the primary interface for organic synthesis and solvent recovery in University and Research laboratories.

Operational Best Practices
Support Mechanism: Unlike flat-bottom flasks, the RBF requires a cork ring or a heating mantle for support. It should never be placed directly on a flat bench while containing liquids.
Uniform Heating: For best results, use a heating mantle or an oil/sand bath. Direct flame should be avoided unless using a wire gauze to spread the heat.
Clamping: Always clamp the flask by the neck using a boss-head and clamp to ensure stability, especially when connected to heavy condensers.
